The Last House on Needless Street follows Ted, who lives with his daughter Lauren and his cat Olivia in an ordinary house at the end of an ordinary street. When I first heard one of his female characters I sort of assumed it was a different narrator, then reminded myself it was the same guy being an amazing by voice artist. The Last House on Needless Street follows awkward shut-in Ted and his loyal sidekick, Olivia the cat. There are so many twists but they tie very neatly together. Told in first person, it clearly relies on an unreliable narrator but you are constantly guessing which of these story-tellers is getting it wrong… or outright lying.
